AlUla Design Residency Exhibition '24

“Unguessed Kinships” 2024 marks the first edition of the AlUla Design Residency exhibition that took place in 2024 at Madrasat Addeera in AlUla, Saudi Arabia. This exhibition showcased five unique design projects, bringing together talented artists from Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Denmark, France, and India. The projects were curated by Ali Ismail Karimi.

Design collectives hall.haus, bahraini-danish, and Studio Raw Material, along with designers Leen Ajlan and Leo Orta, immersed themselves in the local community, conducting research on AlUla's landscapes, materials, and traditions. Their artworks were initially displayed at Design Space AlUla and later showcased at Milan Design Week 2024.

In January 2024, I was contracted by The Aimes to coordinate and provide support for the physical production of the five artworks, ensuring their completion by early February 2024. I collaborated closely with the fabrication manager to ensure a successful delivery and installation for the exhibition's opening day
