This project aims to investigate the use of robotic fabrication in creating architectural ceramic components for building facades. It involves developing a hybrid manufacturing workflow that combines traditional and innovative clay fabrication methods, such as slip casting and robotic additive manufacturing (RAM). By incorporating elements of large-scale industrial manufacturing. Our prototype façade successfully integrates these methods and introduces rotational functionality to the slip-cast elements. This research builds upon prior studies on ceramic fabrication methods, RAM, and industrial manufacturing to advance the field of architectural ceramic component production.
